Not a quadcopter with a camera — a remote-controlled tool that builds cities, guided down to the centimeter.

The Core Idea

An Upgrade Drone is any tool that can be remotely controlled to help build new cities and infrastructure. It doesn't have to fly — it just has to remove a human hand from the machine while keeping the precision.

The Precision

RTK Technology

RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technology is what makes Upgrade Drones practical: it corrects standard GPS positioning down to just a few centimeters of accuracy, instead of the several meters of error normal GPS carries. That's precise enough to trench a utility line, grade a foundation, or plant a crop row without a human hand on the controls.

By the way, Idaho is already a leading state in using RTK technology for robotic farming — proof this isn't speculative tech, it's already working at scale in agriculture today.

Where This Could Matter Most

Places That Need It Now

Wouldn't it be great to put Upgrade Drones to work to rebuild fire- or storm-damaged areas llike Los Angeles? Centimeter-accurate, remotely operated equipment could rebuild faster, more safely, and with fewer workers exposed to hazardous debris and unstable structures.

Ukraine is a world leader in drone development right now, out of sheer necessity. It would be a natural next step to see Upgrade Drones — the construction kind, not just the aerial kind — put to work rebuilding what the war has destroyed.
