Affordable Housing Points (AH Points)
We think that anyone should be able to help provide affordable housing by:
- buying products or services from people or companies which give you AH Points in return
- donating items to certain thrift stores which give you AH Points
- doing a work-study program in which AH Points are part of your reward
At this time, we suggest that we have Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels for AH Points. The value of these points depends on your location.
For example, Bronze level might get you a tiny house in a popular city like Seattle, Washington. or Bronze might get you a tiny studio apartment in a small town somewhere. Note that there might still be some cash requirement for utilities and other expenses.
Silver and Gold levels would get you bigger dwellings, with the amount changing with which city you desire. The goal is to increases the number of dwellings which are paid for forever!
Another feature is that if you achieve a certain level, but do not actually live in a space, then you should get a cash payment monthly (cannot say how much at this time) from people who are paying higher rent on one of these spaces because they do not have the needed points.
AH Points have no cash value and are non-transferrable in most cases. We are offering AH Founder Points in the beginning to get established. Founder AH Points ARE transferrable (sellable) to others. And we may offer Founder Points on occassion when there is a dire need to get more buildings.
People with AH Points can vote for Trustees of a Building while they are tenants. Trustees make sure everything is taken care of. Each building will be its own non-profit entity with ownership safeguards.
There is no age or location limit for the AH Points plan. If you receive cash from this program, we must report it as taxable income if over $600.
We are offering Founder AH Points at this time to get our first building in Oregon and to establish one or more Prepper Camps.
Terms of the AH Points program can change or be upgraded at any time...
